    Well I hope you’re as lucky as we’ve been with this scratching post. Our 1 year old cat had taken to scratching the furniture and the cardboard scratching alternatives didn’t interest her. A friend told me about this one and I was hesitant because it was more expensive than I was hoping. But it’s totally worth it because she loves it and has completely stopped scratching the furniture. So it’s money saved with not having to replace furniture! Plus she absolutely loves it, uses it 4-5 times per day. The texture of it feels perfect for cats to feel that their claws are sharp and clean. It’s the right height so she can stretch high on it, which is an important aspect of scratching for cats. In the forest around here you can see wild cat scratches that are high up on the tree bark and our cats are just small versions on the wild ones, right? It’s also sturdy, durable, stable and attractive enough to have in our living room
